Ok, before reading our Story…

Losing abdominal fat is one of the biggest challenges facing our society today. More than 60 percent of our population is overweight and the number is increasing every passing day. The most troubling reality about overweight problem is the fact that more and more children are becoming obese than it was few years ago. So if you are struggling to lose abdominal fat or get rid of the loose stomach fat, you are not alone, as a matter of fact, we went through a similar situation with my wife until slightly more than two years ago. We struggle with weight for almost six years and tried several weight loss methods, but nothing seemed to work for us.

When we got married in 1999 we were both skinny and very athletic, just out of college. We had just started working and didn’t have much time to exercise. After 1 year into our marriage, our first child was born and within another 3 years our second daughter was born. By this time we only had time for our children and jobs. I had already gained 30 pounds and my wife had gained a little more than myself due to the two pregnancies with our daughters. If you have been pregnant before, I am sure you will understand how weight can change drastically during and after the baby is born.

Sometimes you don’t realize you have a problem until you visit your doctor. For us I guess we were too busy with other responsibilities in life and kept ignoring the advice from our doctor. Every visit we made to see our doctor, he insisted that we exercise and eat healthy food, but we always found excuses not to exercise, or maybe part of it was laziness and lack of energy. One day I was trying to play with my older daughter by lifting her up and I realized I was struggling to do so. She was only 15 pounds then!  I was beginning to see more loose abdominal fat in front of me, something that I never imagine I would have to deal with when we got married.

Dieting does not work; it only confuses your metabolism – you will still gain weight

My wife on the other hand had started skipping some meals in the name of trying to lose abdominal fat. She would go without breakfast and sometimes lunch. Me on the other hand I love food, so skipping meals was not an option. Sadly though her strategy of dieting made everything worse for her, she still gained weight and was hungry and weak all the time. Though we are still a young couple, our love life was beginning to grow cold. At this point we realized that losing abdominal fat or burning belly fat using our methods was impossible. We asked around for good weight loss programs and tried a couple of them, but they really didn’t work. As I mentioned earlier, I love food and dieting was not an option for me. My wife did try two diet plans, but they really didn’t work for her.

Exercise alone may not be effective if you want to lose abdominal fat permanently

We even sought recommendations from a trainer who is also a family friend, but his methods didn’t seem to work for us though they were effective for other people. He had recommended exercising (cardio) five days a week which was fine with me; I was ready to do anything to revive our relationship. Well, I only lost few pounds and ended up gaining them every time I took a break from exercising due to work related commitments. 

Our weight loss healing started through a friend!

We were almost giving up the fight to lose stomach fat. Our consolation was that we were not the only ones defeated trying to lose belly fat. But then I met an old friend from college in one of our company conferences. He looked great and I looked miserable and embarrassed with my new look – the loose abdominal fat which was not there while we were in college years back. During dinner is when I realized his secret, he ate like he didn’t care about his body (not bad food though, but a lot of good food). He told me that he also gained weight right after college, but he found a great resource that helped him lose belly fat and at the same time eat as much food as he wanted. To me, it was too good to be true especially after failing with other weight loss programs before. But I told him that I was going to try his resource just for the sake of trying.

Persistence is the key to getting rid of the unattractive loose stomach fat

Actually had it not been for my wife who insisted, I would have ignored my friend’s recommendation.  The first time I visited the weight loss resource site for help, I thought it was another dieting program (based on the name of the site), and so I never paid much attention. Lucky for me, my wife is not the type who gives up so easily. She listened to the whole introductory presentation on how to burn fat and at the end convinced me that we should try the program.

To this day, I have never stopped thanking my friend and more so my wife who was persistent, because only three weeks after we committed to the weight loss program, we both saw great results. It has been slightly over two years since we started and we are both in the best shapes of our lives. Our love life has never been better. We are full of energy and the best part is the program allows us to eat as much as we want without counting calories. It is probably the only program that recommends eating as much food as you like and still lose abdominal fat in the process.
